The challenges of managing paper parish registers
Our
solution RegisParnet®
RegisParnet® is
a modern secured IT-system for managing church records at
parish, diocese, national and international levels. It is
highly secure and meets the requirements of the General Data
Protection Regulation (GDPR) and canon law. The use is very
intuitive and makes a long study of the operating instructions
unnecessary.
All activities
take place within RegisParnet®. The entire exchange takes place
there. Nothing goes out, nothing penetrates from outside. No
search engine can see what is on RegisParnet®. No viruses or
Trojans can penetrate.
-
Electronic
recording and tracking of baptisms, first communions,
confirmations, weddings, ordinations, funerals and church
taxes by the parish priest or parish assistant.
-
Automatic
electronic sending of marriage banns in the couple's
current parish and to their baptismal parish if they no
longer live there. Receiving any comments from these
parishes.
-
Electronic
sending of applications for exceptions to the publication
of marriages and mixed marriages to the bishop. Electronic
receipt of bishop's decisions.
-
Believers no
longer have to travel to their baptismal parish to receive
documents (baptism, confirmation, church tax, etc.). Within
RegisParnet, the pastor of the current place of residence
requests a real-time forwarding of a copy of their church
records from the baptismal parish. In return, the believer
could give the priest a donation based on the travel costs
and time saved. This represents financial income for the
parish priest.
-
Conformity
checks of church records by the bishop (or his chancellor)
without traveling to the parish offices.
-
The bishop
can immediately receive statistics about his parishes and
diocese by pushing a button.
-
The pastors
can immediately receive various statistics for their parish
at the push of a button.
-
Automatic
electronic information from the bishop to all
pastors.
